A Toronto house for traditional attar
Started because buying good attar in Toronto meant a planned trip, a wall of bottles, and no promise the one you liked would be there next time.
This began with a simple problem. There was no reliable place to buy attar. It meant setting aside an afternoon, driving to a shop, and standing in front of a wall of bottles with no way to tell one from the next. You leave with something, but rarely the thing you came for.
And when you do find an attar you love, you want that exact fragrance again. Not something close to it. So we hold each blend to the same profile batch after batch, and we tell you plainly when a batch is finished rather than swapping in a substitute.
The other concern was authenticity. Most of what is sold as oud is alcohol-based perfume wearing the name. Ours is not. It is oil. Oud sits alongside musk, sandalwood and amber, the way traditional attar is blended.
Attar is oil, not alcohol. It is meant to sit on the skin, warm with the body, and change through the day. We rest each blend in glass, then pour it into small bottles by hand in Toronto.
We keep the range deliberately small. One attar at a time, poured well, in the sizes people actually finish. When a batch runs out we wait for the next one rather than stretching what is left.
Every order is driven to your door within the Greater Toronto Area. There is no warehouse and no courier in the middle. That is also why we do not ship beyond the GTA yet.
